(More customer reviews)As a fan of all the previous MX vs ATV titles, I am quite happy with the latest installment on the wii. The first pleasant surprise to this game is that is has quite decent graphics... not just for a wii game, but period. There are a lot of nice details... from the movement of the tires on the various vehicles to the fact that when you create a profile, your rider wears your profile name on his jersey... you know... the little things. Also, the game's physics are impressive. You really get the feeling like you are driving your respective vehicle. The MX bike feels very agile and limber, the monster trucks are bulky, awkward, but tons of fun... especially during the 'Hill Climb' events or when running a friend into a tree! Also, the environment is well done... I can't tell you how many times I have been clotheslined by a tree or face planted into a railing... which is nice. The online portion of this game is also well done. I was surprised that when I bought this game the day it came out and tried to find a game online, I was able to find someone no problem. Also, when he disconnected unexpectedly, the AI kicked in automatically, and I was able to finish the race rather than have a LOSS added to my record. NICE. All in all, I would say that this is a great title. I had friends over and we spent hours playing the Ski Jump event... I managed to pull off 7 tricks in a jump...it was awesome. Do yourself a favor and buy this title!
