(More customer reviews)I received the whisper legacy yesterday and decided to give a go. First and foremost I don't like how it splits the voltage with the dvd drive, anything that splits voltage is not good by me. But I tried it anyhow. After putting the whole thing together I had two issues, one the nitro button only turned the fan on in a slow fashion or shut it off completely. So that was pretty unacceptable. I eventually removed it and the voltage splitter that comes with it and just installed the fan directly without that. It also broke on removal, hence my not great quality subject title. Also, I changed the LED bulbs to green and they wouldn't work even after following the instructions on how the long end of the bulb goes into the gold wire. I then changed them again to red thinking maybe I had done something wrong, still no go. So at this point I don't even care, the fan sounds a little lower then the normal OEM fan, it runs a touch cooler, the LEDs don't work , and the nitro switch was a joke. Weather I had issue with the nitro because I have an old model 360 or what not. I am not sure. It's a decent product, but I wouldn't really recommend it. But I guess for the $20 I had spent on it, what do I expect.
